UT artists make the cut

During November selected students from United Township were invited to display their artwork at the Festival of Trees high school student exhibition.

Calli Godwin, Lily Wright, Josephine Nouganou, Elena Falcon, Kiera Oliva Vandewalle, Samantha Hofstetter, Lexi Fryxell, Finn Anderson, Haley Rowe, Kayla Dorn, Arianna Andino, Mackenzy Williamson, Nanil Elehimer, Max Scarsdale, Avery Vanhollebeke, Sara McGrath and Grace Lawrick were selected by their teachers, Mrs. Blome and Mr. Nevenhoven, and took a field trip to the Festival of Trees to see their artwork as well as other students works from other schools.

Avery Vanhollebeke, who had two paintings on display, describing her favorite part of the field trip, said, “It was really nice to see everyone’s work, it gave me motivation to put more effort into my pieces.”

Senior Sara McGrath was one of the UTHS students selected to display artwork during November’s Festival of Trees student art exhibition.
